The bullet struck the starboard side

of my junk astern and then entered a wooden partition and again

struck the baulk bead of the front cabin and rebounded off

striking PANG WO.

The last time we went fishing in Deep Bay was about

2 weeks ago, during the past 2 weeks prior to 25th October,

1939, we have been fishing off TUNG KWU (MM) ik ).

We change

our fishing grounds according to the state of the wind. My

fishing base is at CHING SHAN KEUK.

CHAN LAU further states:-

At about 07.00 hours on 25th October, 1939, I was

standing outside the forward cabin on the starboard side of

my junk when I noticed the part of a nickel bullet lying on

the deck.

At about 15.00 hours the same day (25th October, 1939)

I handed the part of the nickel bullet over to a European

detective (Police Sergeant A.200 Davies) who visited my junk

at CHING SHAN KEUK.
